Light & incredibly airy, Modena, defines a luxury lace weight yarn.  Spun with superfine Merino wool (18.5 micron) & cashmere, this yarn knits into delicate scarves, whispery wraps, luxurious sweaters & special baby gifts.

The two-ply yarn has a beautiful twist to accentuate lace stitch patterns.  It may be knit alone, held double, held triple or knit alongside a heavier gauge yarn to add softness & depth of color.

Modena has been dyed in a sophisticated palette of colorways to complement modern wardrobes.

The raw wool used to spin the yarn is mulesing-free & the raw cashmere is ethically sourced from China & Mongolia.  It is spun in a family-run mill in Italy & the finished yarn is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
